About

The Wayne County Cardinal Greenway is responsible for maintaining and caring for the 22.5 miles of the Greenway here in Wayne County. We rely heavily on volunteers to keep the trail clean, clear and safe for our users. We are in constant need of help maintaining the Greenway. This could be done on an ongoing basis as people are available and/or during scheduled work days. Times are very flexible as the trail is open every day of the year from dawn to dusk allowing volunteers to work when they are able. Needs include tasks like trash and litter pick up and removal, brush clearing and trimming. This work can be done with minimal to no supervision and has little training. The southern end of the Greewany is located at the D St. trail head which is located approximately 1.5 miles from the Earlham campus at the intersection of N. D St. and N. 3rd St.
